ESG reporting transformation for a global healthcare group

A global private equity-backed healthcare group sought expert guidance on ESG reporting as it prepared for UK Climate-related Financial Disclosures (UK CFD) and future compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). With operations spanning over 50 countries, the group needed to establish a clear reporting strategy, starting with its EU subsidiaries to identify the ‘lead’ CSRD reporting entity and determine the precise scoping requirements.

Our director, Tim Dee-McCullough, developed a comprehensive double materiality assessment and value chain mapping to pinpoint financial and operational ESG risks. He worked closely with the finance and sustainability teams to ensure data accuracy, align reporting with UK CFD standards, and prepare a structured transition for CSRD compliance. He evaluated governance structures, streamlined reporting workflows, and enhanced internal controls to improve efficiency and transparency.

By embedding best-practice ESG governance and reporting structures, the healthcare group is strengthening its investor confidence, ensuring a structured approach for multi-jurisdictional compliance, and positioning itself as a leader in sustainable healthcare operations. Tim’s work enabled the business to proactively manage ESG risks while aligning with global reporting expectations, ensuring resilience and long-term financial stability.
